2pm Wednesday 15th Feburary, Lancaster Library

Run Time: 86 minutes               Certificate: PG tbc

The heart warming story of Maggy Fuller, a rebellious teenager, who receives a life-affirming letter from an unknown source and sets out to track down the writer of the letter.  She discovers the writer is an elderly man, living in a nursing home, whom she has never met.  Letter writing is an all-but-forgotten art form, and Sam writes a compassionate letter with the fervour of a true master craftsman, capturing the beauty of selfless service and love.  Maggy is inspired and decides to become his apprentice.  His friendship will change her life forever.

A charming coming of age story, The Letter Writer is a great family film.  Maggy learns what true friendship is and how to live up to her potential.  It is a touching story, you may want to bring a tissue!
